Celebrate 76 years of racing in Riverhead with a special tribute to the Flying Dutchman, NASCAR Modified driver Fred Harbach; with full racing program and fireworks display. Fine Art, Crafts & Antiques Fair | Cutchogue Village Green, Main Road and Cases Lane, Cutchogue

From 9 a.m.-4 p.m. the Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild hosts this fair with original and collectible art: paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, wood, fiber arts and antiques. Admission is $3; rain date is July 5. For more info, click here.

Fourth of July Parades | Various locales

Wear your red, white and blue to one of the local Fourth of July parades and celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary. The New Suffolk parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at new Suffolk and Tuthill Roads, ending with a ceremony at New Suffolk Beach (check here for info); the Shelter Island parade starts at 10 a.m. at Bateman Road, continuing down Route 114 and finishing along School Street (more info here); the Riverhead parade starts at 11 a.m. at Railroad Ave. and travels throughout downtown Riverhead (more details here) and the Southold Town parade steps off at noon on the Main Road from Boisseau Ave. to Tuckers Lane (look here for details); free.
