Voting for the Best of the North Fork 2024 has begun!

Next to its natural beauty, one of the great things about living on the East End is the notion that small businesses are alive and well here. Hooray for that! They’re an important part of the North Fork’s flavor, and everyone’s got favorites — us included. Narrowing down that list of what we love to come up with the best of the best is no easy feat, but we look at it as a passion project; a way of celebrating our neighbors and the things they do really well. We spent months discussing and debating who would make into our annual Best of the North Fork issue and this year, we even added some new categories, totalling 58 faves for you to peruse (or debate — hey, you know we love hearing from you!). Keep in mind they are listed in no particular order (so the one at the top or the bottom isn’t the best of the best of the best). On the following pages, you’ll find our annual top picks across the North Fork, from the best places for photo-worthy waterfront dining and drinks with friends to the best hiking trails, hardware stores, gift shops, main drags and so much more.
