New life is coming to Love Lane — again!
With the addition of Bella Grace Boutique at the beginning of May, Party Animal moving their space to the bustling street Memorial Day Weekend and now the newest of the crew, Petal & Peep (50 Love Lane, Mattituck), a curated kids boutique with everything from toys to baby accessories, it’s going to be a great future for shoppers on the Mattituck strip.
ToniAnn Sinning, a native North Forker now based in Cutchogue with over 40 years of retail experience and lots of youngsters in her family, she hopes to make a hub for buying quality children’s goods.
“I wanted to create a welcoming boutique that offers thoughtfully curated products that parents, grandparents and gift givers can feel good about purchasing,” says Sinning.

Petal & Peep opened doors earlier this month and is stocked with 100% organic cotton baby and children’s clothing, plush stuffed animals, keepsake gifts, natural and organic soaps, personal care items, nursery essentials, children’s sunglasses, protective accessories, baby shower and newborn gifts, special seasonal gift items and a collection of handmade quilts stitched by local artist Kathryn Douglass (customers can also request custom quilt designs).
While Petal & Peep is Sinning’s first ownership venture, her career in customer service, merchandising and creating an enjoyable, memorable experiences for shoppers, is being applied to the new store.
“Opening Petal & Peep has allowed me to combine that experience with my passion for children, families and thoughtfully purchased gifts and essentials,” says Sinning.
The store is open daily; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
