It’s opening day for these two markets, which both run from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each Saturday — the Havens Farmers Market on the grounds of the Shelter Island History Museum and the Greenport Farmers Market at Mitchell Park. Pindar Vineyards partners with The New York Cancer Foundation for their 7th annual Memorial Day race, rain or shine. The race starts at 9 a.m. with the 1-mile walk stepping off at 9:05 a.m. Cost for the 5K is $47; for the 1-mile walk $32; with a 10% discount per event for signing up for another Pindar race this year.
