Paumanok Vineyards is now open for wine tastings and sales every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. by reservations. Walk-ins will be accepted if there is availability.

History: Established in 1983, Paumanok is an estate winery located on the North Fork of Long Island owned and operated by the Massoud Family. The turn of the century barn on the property was renovated into a fermentation tank room and lab. The winery is named after the famous Walt Whitman poem, “Starting from Paumanok,” a Native American word for Long Island. Paumanok has been recognized with numerous accolades over the years including wine service at The White House, NY Wine & Food Classic’s “Winery of the Year” Award, “outstanding” reviews in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and a nomination for Wine Enthusiast’s “American Winery of the Year”.
