Winter Solstice oyster and wine pairing at Jamesport Vineyards

Winter on the North Fork isn’t as quiet as you may think. On the day of the Winter Solstice, Jamesport Vineyards is kicking off the winter season with a big celebration.

On Dec. 21, the winery is offering wine tastings paired with oysters from Harvest Moon Shellfish Company.

There will also be live music, holiday recipes and barrel tasting.

The party gets underway at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jamesport Vineyard located at 1216 Main Rd. Jamesport.

Tickets are $20, $10 for wine club members.
