A collection of North Forkers will join forces with top Manhattan and Hamptons chefs to tempt your taste buds as they help raise money for three different causes—Hayground School, Jeff’s Kitchen and The Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund—on Sunday July 28 at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton.
Claudia Fleming of the North Fork Table and Inn, Lia Fallon of The Riverhead Project, Matt Michel of Rolling in Dough Pizza, and the Greenport Brewing Company will represent the North Fork at the 2013 Chef’s Dinner & Meet the Chefs Cocktail and Tastings Party.
This is the ninth year of the dinner and the event will also feature top chefs from the Hamptons and Manhattan. The cocktail party will be accompanied by music from Lily and the Parlor Tricks followed by a silent art auction. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the chefs at the Hayground School and the expanded Jeff’s Kitchen.
Afterwards, an intimate VIP wine dinner will be held at the home of Toni Ross, the wife of the late Jeff Salaway. The dinner will feature a four-course meal prepared by a select few of the chefs.
The cocktail party will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the dinner from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $175 for the cocktail party, $1,000 for both the cocktail party and dinner. Dinner tickets for children will cost $40.
