THURSDAY

From 5-9 p.m., this annual event features a summer cookout on the patio with a whole roast pig, several clam dishes, salad, cornbread, gazpacho and more. Tickets are $130 per person and may be reserved here.

The Long Island Mineral and Geology Society’s annual show takes place on 7/25 and 7/26 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (last entry at 4:30 p.m.). The Southold-Greenport Rotary hosts a delicious lobster (or steak) dinner from 5-8 p.m., along with steamed mussels, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw and watermelon.
