One of the perks of the burgeoning music scene on the North Fork is the sheer number and variety of concerts available to choose from, featuring everything from rock and jazz to reggae and country. As far as we’re concerned, the more live music — and local musicians playing — the better.

Check out these free concert series happening this summer (most already in progress). Bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack some snacks and settle in for an evening of music.

And please remember that these events are made possible by local nonprofits, park districts, businesses and volunteers. Supporting the local businesses and nonprofit groups that help bring these concerts to life ensures they’ll continue for years to come.
