From 7:30-9:30 p.m., The Boathouse at Silver Sands hosts stargazing on the beach overlooking Pipes Cove, guided by the team from Custer Observatory. New York Sea Grant’s shucking workshop from 5-7 p.m. features oysters and instruction from Joe Finora of Hampton Oyster Company, as well as at least a dozen delicious oysters, an oyster knife, gloves, insulated tote bag, aquaculture and seafood resources and a complimentary beer from the brewery.
