Spring is just 13 days away, which means many restaurants, farms and shops around the North Fork are preparing to reopen their doors for another season. Here’s a list of highly-anticipated businesses that have recently reopened or have announced their spring opening date. Check back throughout the season as the list is updated.
American Beech

Inspired by the multi-faceted culture of the North Fork’s various industries, this modern American restaurant with a menu by Bruce Miller is back for spring with a new, seasonal menu. The restaurant is currently serving dinner on Fridays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Dimon Estate
Open Now
Formerly known as The Jamesport Manor, The Dimon Estate is newly remodeled and rebranded with a beautiful lounge, bar area and plenty of nods to the North Fork’s past. Check out the menu created by chef Chris Karr here. Open Thursday through Monday.
North Fork Table & Inn
Open Now
After a winter break, North Fork Table & Inn has opened for the season. Enjoy elegant dining in a restored historical property Thursday through Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. View their menus here and be sure to make a reservation.
The North Fork Shack

Enjoy casual American cuisine at The North Fork Shack. Specializing in seafood, find an array of delectable starters, sandwiches and sides. Try their fish sandwich or a warm bowl of their New England clam chowder. Find more information on their website. They are open Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 3 p.m. for lunch and 5 – 7 p.m. for dinner and Friday through Sunday from noon until 7 p.m.
Southold General

Oh, how we’ve missed Payard’s croissants! The General is back offering their signature coffees, breakfast, lunch, and a curated selection of North Fork-made foods and goods. Try Chef François Payard’s exquisite pastries, freshly baked grandma pies, or house-made gelato. Stay in the loop through their website. Open Thursday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Catapano Dairy Farm

Celebrate 20 years of Catapano Dairy Farm. Go on a farm tour, try goat yoga or their award-winning goat cheese and skin care products. A full list of events and products is available on their website. Open Thursday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Briermere Farms

Farm Country Kitchen
March 8
Farm Country Kitchen will reopen its doors on Wednesday, March 8 from its winter break with a fresh spring menu. Find an array of tasty and filling salads and sandwiches and a full dinner menu. A Lure Chowder House & Oysteria
March 16
A Lure Chowder House & Oysteria will open on Thursday, March 16 for another season of fresh, locally sourced seafood and waterfront views. Find a full list of menu items online. Open Thursday, Friday and Monday at 4:30 p.m. and weekends at noon.
First and South
March 17
Celebrate St. Patty’s Day with First and South‘s grand reopening on Friday, March 17. The restaurant will be open Thursday through Tuesday and open for brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the spring season.
Sang Lee Farmstand
March 17
Don’t be surprised if you see a line outside of Sang Lee Farmstand on Friday, March 17 as it reopens its doors for the season. There you’ll find a large variety of over 100 different organic fruit and vegetable products. Sign up for their CSA program, find their hours and see a full list of their produce on their website.
Little Fish
April 6
New to the scene, Little Fish had a soft opening this past fall but is preparing for their official spring opening set for Thursday, April 6. The restaurant will be open for dinner Thursday through Sunday from 5 – 9 p.m. and for lunch on Saturday and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Make a dinner reservation for their opening night here and follow along on their Instagram for updates and things to look forward to for the spring season.
Windamere
April 15
Windermere, a unique waterfront dining and entertainment venue at Strong’s Water Club in Mattituck is excited to welcome a new management team to their restaurant for the upcoming season. LI hospitality group, J&B Restaurant Top Flight Foods, is partnering with the Strong Family to provide memorable experiences for guests starting on Friday, April 15. New hours of operation will be posted to their website soon.
1760 Homestead Farm
April 15
On Friday, April 15, check out the “biggest” little farm on Long Island. With a large array of honey, free-range eggs and heirloom produce, there’s something for everyone. Check their website for a full list of products. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
