This Easter, skip the cooking and washing the dishes and go out to brunch instead!

From brunch buffets to prix fixe menus and a la carte options, here are several North Fork restaurants to consider this year.

Bistro 72, Riverhead

Put on your Sunday best! Bistro 72 will offer a taste of both sweet and savory brunch classics with an elevated twist. Enjoy an almond-crusted French toast, a lox platter, or a rack of lamb! Be sure to guarantee a table by making your reservation in advance.

The Birchwood of Polish Town, Riverhead

Celebrate Easter in Polish Town with a buffet that includes a grand carving station, freshly made sushi and a giant doughnut wall. Plus, take a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Seating is available from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is limited to strictly 90 minutes. Tickets are $59.95 for adults and $28.95 for children 3-12; children under 2 are free.

The Dimon Estate, Jamesport

Enjoy a prix fixe menu starting at 11:30 a.m. this Easter Sunday at The Dimon Estate, which is back for its second season. The menu features fried brie with truffle honey, braised short ribs, herb-crusted fluke, and decadent, house-made desserts.

East Wind, Wading River

Celebrate with the family in style at East Wind Long Island’s brunch in their Grand Ballroom. Guests can indulge in a full gourmet buffet offering smoked whitefish, classic eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, a made-to-order omelet bar, crispy Cuban pork, a carving station with prime rib, leg of lamb and more.

Léon 1909, Shelter Island

Take the North Ferry and spend your Easter Sunday on Shelter Island with a feast at Léon 1909. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Léon 1909 will serve up menu that includes creative dishes like house-cured ham with asparagus and béarnaise, leeks vinaigrette with a soft cooked egg and dijon mustard, chicken liver toast topped with dandelion greens and pickled shallots, and more.

Long Island Aquarium, Riverhead

Food and fun for the whole family will be served up in the waterfront Sea Star Ballroom with seatings at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m.

Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy a delicious brunch featuring traditional brunch fare including assorted danishes, scrambled eggs and French toast casserole, plus a ham carving station and hot lunch dishes like New Orleans chicken, teriyaki glazed salmon and more.

Complete your visit by spending a day at the aquarium and enjoying the Penguin Scavenger “Egg Hunt.” Admission to the aquarium is included with the purchase of each ticket. North Fork Table & Inn, Southold

A three-course menu will be served showcasing spring ingredients. Find a specially curated menu by chef John Fraser featuring items such as chili-crusted cod, house-made bacon rolls, coconut and egg custards and pea and nettle agnolotti. Brunch will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tickets are $72 per person.

The Preston House, Riverhead

Treat yourself to The Preston House’s brunch menu with favorites like lemon ricotta pancakes, avocado and smoked salmon toast and Fumbally green eggs and chorizo with several Easter specialties expected to be added to the menu. The Ram’s Head Inn, Shelter Island

Spend Easter Sunday on Shelter Island at The Ram’s Head Inn, which is planning a family-friendly Easter Extravaganza.

Sip on a bacon Bloody Mary or mimosa and enjoy decadent brunch options like challah bread French toast, duck confit hash or lobster and spinach quiche while listening to live music and taking part in an epic egg hunt, bocce ball, arts and crafts and more.
