Bedell Cellars will host its first-ever music festival this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at their Corey Creek tasting room.
“We’ve got a tent and stage set up and we’re expecting around 100 people,” said Bedell Social Media Manager Steve Carlson. “It’s like a mini music festival.”
Kicking off the event will be Mambo Loco who perform a combination of “old school” Latin music and Latin jazz. Other performers include Next Level Band, an internationally renowned band who perform a variety of music including Disco, Pop, Reggae, and Jazz. Another performer and headliner will be David Clark’s Songs in the Attic, a Billy Joel tribute band.
“They are all some of the more popular local Long Island bands that we’ve worked with all through Winterfest, which was kind of the impetus for this event,” Carlson explained. “People ask for music all the time and we thought this would be a little something different for late summer.”

Along with the music and bands, food trucks will be on hand to feed hungry music fans. Noah’s on the Road and Holy Crepes will provide sustenance for the music-filled day.
So will this event turn into an end of summer music tradition for Bedell Cellars and Corey Creek?
“It’s our first year doing this, but I do think we would like to do it again in the future,” said Carlson.”
While tickets to Rootstock are still available, seats are very limited. Bedell Cellars recommends purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee entree, because only a limited number of tickets will be sold for the event.
