CELEBRATE THE SOUNDS OF THE IRISH

Spend your St. Patrick’s Day listening to some of Ireland’s finest musicians with Dervish at The Suffolk (118 East Main St., Riverhead). On Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m., check out the sounds of rural northwestern Ireland as this award-winning band performs traditional music of the region. WALK THE WATERSHED

Join Peconic Baykeeper and Peconic Estuary Partnership for the second annual Winter Watershed Walk series. Explore some of the beautiful locations around the Peconic Estuary while learning about coastal habitats in the watershed. Meet at the Wolf Preserve trailhead at 12455 Main Bayview Road in Southold on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. for a peaceful hour-long walk through nature. DIY DRIFTWOOD

Get in the creative spirit and head to Corey Creek Tap Room (45470 Main Road, Southold) for their Driftwood Floral & Brunch Workshop. On Sunday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, guests can enjoy a peaceful afternoon designing a succulent floral piece with guidance from Imaginariums by Elissa while fueling up for the day on classic brunch items. DON’T MIND IF I FONDUE

Get in on an afternoon of cheesy goodness Saturday, March 16. Starting at noon, cozy up by the fireplace on the Mezzanine at Bedell Cellars (36225 Main Road, Cutchogue) and dip into homemade fondue prepared by the Village Cheese Shop’s own fromagier, Michael Affatato. AN ARTIST’S DEBUT

Artist and writer Anne Sherwood Pundyk’s debut solo exhibition, “Beauty Out of Bounds,” will debut at East End Arts (133 E. Main St.) with an opening reception on Saturday, March 23. Sherwood Pundyk’s large-scale, un-stretched paintings will be on display at both EEA galleries (EEA Main and 11 West), interspersed with smaller, handwritten journals and photographs. “Beauty Out of Bounds” will also include several interactive events in April following the reception. MEMORY TAKES CENTER STAGE

North Fork Community Theatre’s (12700 Sound Ave., Mattituck) production of Florian Zeller’s “The Father” runs from March 8–24. In this challenging drama, which was made into a film starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman, an aging man struggles with what’s real and what’s not as he grapples with memory loss. COMEDY FOR A CAUSE

CAST’s (53930 Main Rd, Southold) Comedy Night returns on March 9 featuring the talents of Dan Naturman and Kenny Williams, Nancy Lombardo on Emcee duties. SLINK INTO THE BLACK CAT SUPPER CLUB

Ali Katz Kitchen’s (55 Middle Road, Mattituck) Black Cat Supper Club for March 9 will include a flavorful, Asian-inspired four-course menu complemented by wines from Saltbird Cellars, poured by winemaker Robin Epperson McCarthy. The dinner includes mouth-watering dishes like dumplings with chili crisp and scallion oil, blackened salmon and more. Saltbird wines will also be available for purchase.
