Calling all robot lovers!

Long Island Science Center in Riverhead is hosting a robotics camp during the February winter break for children ages 6 to 9 to make their own working robot.

Drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. and the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 to Friday, Feb. 20.

“We’ve done winter camps before, but this is the first time we’re doing this theme,” said Long Island Science Center Director Michelle Pelletier. “We have other courses that involve robotics, but now we’re running a whole week on it.”

It costs $150 per child for LISC members, and $175 per child for non-members. A snack for each day is included.

To register, visit the LISC website at www.lisciencecenter.org or call (631) 208-8000.

The Long Island Science Center is located at 11 West Main Street in Riverhead.
