Enjoy two of the finest things in life — good wine and fresh oysters — at Lieb Cellars‘ 10th annual Oysterfest this Sunday.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. on July 20 at The Tasting Group at 35 Cox Neck Lane in Mattituck.

“Oysterfest has been one of our most well-loved annual events, and this year we are excited to welcome several local businesses to participate,” said Dana Kowalsick, the winery’s  marketing manager. “It’s fun to get together with your friends and enjoy everything the North Fork has to offer all in one place: local food, seafood, wine and music.”

Local oyster farmers Harvest Moon Shellfish Co., Pipe’s Cove, Lucky 13, and Rack Rock will be on hand shucking fresh oysters.

Touch of Venice, Noah’s, First and South, Claudio’s and Waterside Caterers will be selling food. Vendors like Miss Lady Root Beer, Ginger Goods and local artist Patience Pollack will also be on hand. Cass Dillon and friends will provide live music.

One glass of Bridge Lane wine is included in the ticket price as well as free wine pairings with a food or oyster purchase.  A different wine will be set up at each vendor table that compliments their food, and each guest will be offered a tasting of that wine with their purchase.

Cases of 2011 Lieb Pinot Blanc, 2012 Bridge Lane White Merlot, 2011 Bridge Lane Chardonnay will be on sale for $100.

Admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
