Craft beer junkies mark your calendar. Tickets for the North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ and Wine Festival go on sale Tuesday, May 13.

Voted North Fork Event of the Year in 2007, the festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 9 at Peconic Bay Winery in Cutchogue.

More than 60 of the finest craft brewers from across the world will be showcased at the festival, including the North Fork’s own Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, Long Ireland Beer Company, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company and Moustache Brewing Company.

Beers from Up-Islanders Blue Point Brewing Company, Blind Bat BreweryPort Jeff Brewing Company, Great South Bay BrewerySpider Bite Beer Company, Brooklyn Brewery and many more from all over the world will be on tap.

Designated drivers will also have something to toast. The festival will feature a gourmet barbecue from Maple Tree BBQ Deli and live music.

VIP tickets for the event are $85 and general admission is $60 when purchased online in advance of the event. The price includes a souvenir tasting glass marked with a 2 oz. pour line, beer tasting and a BBQ sandwich and side dish.

Designated Driver tickets are available for $15 plus tax. A DD ticket holder will get a BBQ sandwich, a side dish and a bottle of water, but does not receive a tasting glass and is not permitted to sample any beer or wine.

The funds raised by the event will help area charities through the Beer For Brains Foundation.

The North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ and Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, August 9. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. for ticketing and processing.
