There are plenty of places to treat mom to brunch on the North Fork this Mother’s Day weekend, but if you’re looking to do something a little more unique for her special day we recommend checking out Harbes Family Farm and Vineyard.

We’re talking fresh flowers, live music, award-winning wine and even pig races all weekend long in honor of the reopening of Sound Avenue farm, winery and popular Barnyard Adventure.

With the attractions opening Saturday, there will be plenty to do for moms with kids of all ages.

Moms get free admission into the kid-friendly Barnyard Adventure, an area of the farm containing goats, bunnies
, a corn hedge maze and an animal petting area. There are also pony rides, pig races and a space where you can plant a flower for mom.

For moms with a taste for vino, Harbes Family Vineyard is not to be missed. The renovated tasting barn provides a warm and rustic setting to savor a glass of awarding winning wine.

The celebration is Saturday May 9 and Sunday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Harbes Family Farm and Vineyard, located at 715 Sound Ave., Mattituck.
