Two award winning photographers will be featured in a new exhibit in Cutchogue. “Alterations,” an exhibit of the works by Carolyn Conrad and Sandi Daniel, will be on view at the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery in Cutchogue from Nov. 8 through Dec. 15. There will be an artists’ reception on Friday Nov. 8 from 6-8pm. A Gallery Talk with both photographers is scheduled for Sunday Nov. 24 at 11am.

Carolyn Conrad of Sag Harbor uses a minimalist approach to create rural scenes from clay and wood before lighting and photographing the scenes “with the goal of steering naturalism toward abstraction. “ Conrad’s works of photography, painting, sculpture and art installations have been exhibited in the United States and France.

Sandi Daniel, whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Japan, seeks to go “beyond the image, reinventing it into an alternate reality and evoking feelings of romance while addressing the fragility of nature.”

Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery is located at 25425 Main Road, Cutchogue. The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 11am-5pm, or by appointment. Call 631-734-8545 for more information.
