Support New York’s only native land turtle hospital, which cares for more than 250 turtles, with a fundraiser featuring turtle ambassadors, boutique shopping, food, a basket raffle with more than 100 prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Celebrate fall with a full day of pumpkin picking, hayrides, a corn maze and seasonal farm activities, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Browse local vendors, enjoy food trucks and autumn treats, and listen to live music while the family takes part in activities such as bounce houses, face painting, fairy hair, permanent jewelry and henna. Beer and wine will be available from Westhampton Beach Brewery, along with special guests, spooky photo opportunities and plenty of fall fun. This event will also be held Oct. 11. Entry is $10. Bug Light Classic Regatta | Greenport Harbor and Gardiner’s Bay, Greenport

The Metropolitan Cello Quartet | Custer Institute and Observatory, 1115 Main Bayview Road, Southold, 631-765-2626

At 6 p.m., the Metropolitan Cello Quartet will perform chamber music spanning nearly 1,000 years, from Hildegard, Bach and Mozart to Piazzolla, Moszkowski and contemporary composers. Following the concert, guided night-sky tours will be offered through on-site telescopes, weather permitting. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for observatory members and free for children under 16. 13th Annual Oyster Festival | Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., 234 Carpenter St., Greenport, 631-477-1100

From noon-6 p.m., attendees can enjoy live music by The Get Up Band, an oyster shucking contest, food trucks and offerings from 11 oyster growers. “Unhinged,” an oyster stout brewed in collaboration with Little Creek using whole local oysters, also will be available.
