FRIDAY 

CAST Culinary Program Pop-Up Dinner | CAST, 53930 Main Road, Southold, 631-477-1717

This 4-course farm-to-table dinner with Lenz wine pairings is prepared by Chef Davie Cichanowicz with program directors and students from CAST’s North Fork Culinary Program at 7 p.m.; tickets are $150 and all proceeds benefit the restaurant development course. Leprechaun Leap | Miamogue Point, South Jamesport/Watershed Kitchen & Inn, 46 Front St., South Jamesport, 631-779-3454

Leap into the bay at this cold-water plunge to raise funds for the Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day parade. Registration starts at 10 a.m. at the Watershed Kitchen & Inn, national anthem at 11:30 a.m., leap at noon. From 12:30-3:30 head to the Watershed for live music and an extended happy hour. Afterparty tickets are $55 in advance, $60 at the door and include buffet lunch of chili, cornbread, shepherd’s pie and macaroni salad, and a 2-hour open bar from 12:30-2 p.m. For tickets and more info, click here.

At 10 a.m., stop by for an authentic Irish breakfast on CAST’s main floor and an Irish step dance performance and workshop in Treiber Hall. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; free admission. To register, click here.

Stepping off at 2 p.m., the North Fork Chamber of Commerce and the Cutchogue Fire Department will hold the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Main Road in Cutchogue. Find more information here.

Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk | Tasker Park, Carroll Ave., Peconic

The Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr.-Sr. High School Athletic Booster Club sponsors the 5th annual shuffle, with this year’s proceeds to go to the family of beloved coach and teacher Kelly Pickering. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., race starts at 10 a.m.; cost is $30 for adults online by 3/14, $35 day of race, $15 Mattituck students online by 3/14, $20 day of race.
