Long Island’s going green for a few weekends — and midweek celebrations — in March!

Get in the Irish spirit with this list of St. Patrick’s Day events across the North Fork.

Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner | Clam Bar at Alize Brewing Company, 10560 Main Road, Mattituck, 631-298-7793

On March 11 from 3-9 p.m., try a corned beef & cabbage or fried flounder dinner for $30 per person, with Guinness, Jameson and drink specials. Proceeds will benefit the East End Emerald Society’s Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

East End Lions Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner | Ammirati’s, 135 Love Lane, Mattituck, 631-298-7812

This 71st annual event offers a corned beef and cabbage or chicken parmigiana take out dinner for $30 on March 12. Proceeds support the Guide Dog Foundation, Canine Companions, American Vet Dogs and local needs. For tickets, contact Lion Roberta Faltin at 631-745-2458 or Lion Lydia Ladja at 631-734-5897. The Irish Tenors | The Suffolk Theater, 18 East Main Street, Riverhead, 631-727-4343

On March 13 at 8 p.m., the internationally known Irish Tenors perform favorites from Ireland’s rich musical heritage. Tickets are $75-125 and may be obtained here.

St. Paddy’s Party | Twin Fork Beer Company, 807 Raynor Ave., Riverhead, 631-209-4233

On March 13, from 6-9 p.m., Riverhead Rotary and Twin Fork Beer Company will hold a 21-and-over St. Patrick’s weekend fundraiser with music, raffles and Irish-themed entertainment, including bagpipes and step dancing. Admission includes entry, one beer or wine, and a traditional Irish meal of corned beef and cabbage with fixings. A portion of proceeds will benefit North Fork Country Kids. Cutchogue St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Cox Lane and Main Road, Cutchogue

20th Annual Cutchogue St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Saturday, March 14, 2 to 4 p.m. — starts at the traffic light at Cox Lane and Route 25 and marches down the latter ending in the heart of Cutchogue Village. Find more information here.

On March 14 at 8 p.m., catch a screening of this 1952 classic film, starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara in a love story that takes place in Ireland’s countryside. Tickets are $25 and include complimentary Irish coffee and Dianne’s Irish cream cheesecake. To book tickets click here

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at CAST | CAST, 53930 Main Road, Southold, 631-477-1717

On March 14 at 10 a.m., all are welcome for an authentic Irish breakfast on the main floor and an Irish Step dance performance and workshop with Alex Cuniff from Ciara Greene School of Irish Step Dancing in Treiber Hall. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; free admission. To register, click here.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade After Parties | Tucker’s Taproom & Smokehouse, 9095 Sound Ave., Mattituck, 631-298-7077

Tucker’s Taproom will host afterparties on March 14 after the Cutchogue St. Patrick’s Day parade from 4-8 p.m. and on March 28 after the Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day parade from 4-8 p.m., with specials on Guinness and other beers and Irish whiskey. St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance | The Birchwood of Polish Town, 512 Pulaski Street, Riverhead, 631-727-4449

The Birchwood offers two dates to choose from: March 14 or March 17, for this dinner dance with live music by Bobby G and a DJ, as well as an Irish step dancer. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; dinner runs from 6-9 p.m. with grand buffet serving corned beef and cabbage, carving and pasta stations, mashed potato bar and dessert station with a giant chocolate fountain. Shamrock shuffle 5K Run/Walk | Tasker Park, Carroll Ave., Peconic

The Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr.-Sr. High School Athletic Booster Club sponsors the 5th annual shuffle on March 15, with this year’s proceeds to go to the family of beloved coach and teacher Kelly Pickering. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., race starts at 10 a.m.; cost is $30 for adults online by 3/14, $35 day of race, $15 Mattituck students online by 3/14, $20 day of race. Head to Greenport Brewery this Sunday, March 15, for an all-day St. Pat’s bonanza, starting with the 10 a.m. Shamrock Shuffle 5k Race at Tasker Park (see above) and ending at the brewery, the live Irish tunes of Aileen and Eamonn O’Rourke starting at 11:30 a.m., a loquacious limerick contest (all the better fueled by beer) at 3 p.m., and loads of Irish breakfast sandwiches, corned beef, oysters and a brand new beer release from Sean O’Galligan. This popular Irish band rocks the Suffolk on March 22 at 7 p.m., mixing Celtic tradition with high energy musicianship. Tickets are $29-79 and can be had here.

On March 28 from 4 to 7 p.m., keep the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration going with live music by Acoustic Groove bringing their best takes on Irish tunes. Grab a beer after the Jamesport parade or just swing by food the evening fun.

Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Kicking off at 1 p.m on March 28., the Jamesport parade runs from North Railroad Avenue and Washington Avenue through Main Road to the Jamesport Fire Department (25 Manor Lane, Riverhead). Packed with fire trucks and bagpipes for that Irish touch, this small-town celebration is one to see.
