Spending time on a vineyard patio or U-picking at farms offers a stunning — and fun —  way to exhale on the North Fork, but for a more curated and body-focused respite, several spas here offer the ultimate timeout. Manis, pedis and hairstyling can help give you a confidence boost ahead of a big day (or any old day), and who couldn’t use a massage? Regard-less of your intention, a stop at these North Fork spas is a great way to hit the refresh button.

Neytiv x Rose Hill Vineyards (2000 Oregon Road, Mattituck, 631-377-8226)

Alex Wyse opened Neytiv Spa in early 2020 on Cutchogue’s Main Road. Soon after, Wyse formed a buzz-worthy partnership with Rose Hill Vineyards. Those who spend the night at the vineyard’s onsite inn can upgrade their stay with a couples massage that also includes a foot rub, sparkling vino and truffles, or a Swedish massage designed to reduce physical and mental stress. Wyse offers massages, facials, nail treatments and more at her brick and mortar and will travel for spa parties at your home or a North Fork venue.

Blue Sage Day Spa (11700 Main Road, Mattituck, 631-298-4244)

Customization is a hallmark of Blue Sage Day Spa. Guests have their pick of durations for treatments (like massages that run for 30, 60, 75 or 90 minutes) and variations. Re-energize with an hour-long Reiki massage or kiss dead skin goodbye with a sea salt body scrub. An infrared sauna may help improve circulation and alleviate joint pain — and it’s also a relaxing experience.

The Spa & Salon at East Wind (5720 NY-25A, Wading River, 631-846-2339)

Though it’s known as a wedding venue set along the gateway to the North Fork, East Wind also has a spacious — as in 10,000-square-foot — full-service spa and salon. Services include body polishes and wraps for all skin types, as well as manicures and pedicures, blowouts and scalp treatments. A relaxation lounge stocked with teas, water and cozy spots to sit or lie down is a truly zen area to chill between bookings. Pack-ages are available for couples, bridal parties and “just” you.

Spa Bellezza (1116 Main Road, Aquebogue, 631-778-3773)

Nestled on the wine trail, Spa Bellezza’s soft lighting and gentle human touch let guests experience a “getaway within a getaway.” Glowing scrubs and wraps give skin a sunkissed look and hydrated feel courtesy of ingredients like shredded coconut and sea salt. A caviar facial with biotic caviar extract as a star ingredient? Positively divine, especially for maturing skin.

Special Effects Salon & Spa (455 Main St., Greenport, 631-477-2265)

Set in a three-story Victorian house in Greenport, Special Effects Salon & Spa offers pampering and afternoon tea menus, making it an ideal spot for showers, bachelorette parties and birthday celebrations. Services include hairstyling, cuts and coloring; facial peels; makeup and manicures and pedicures. Afternoon tea is a charming affair that can involve finger sandwiches, scones and several teas (even sparkling).

Scarlett Rose Mindful Day Spa and Boutiques (135 3rd St., Sterlington Commons #18, Greenport, 631-477-1864)

A tranquil oasis in bustling Greenport, Scarlett Rose Mindful Day Spa is lauded for its calming atmosphere that leaves the body and mind feeling down-regulated. A new Glo₂Facial with RF Pro is designed to exfoliate and breathe life into skin, boosting collagen and leaving your face looking relaxed and smooth. Bodywork — particularly a 90-minute scalp-to-toes body and soul ritual — can help ease stress. Salon services and spa parties are also available.

La Belle Vie Esthetics (189 Main Road, Unit F, Riverhead, 631-905-8834)

Found at the tip of the Fork in Aquebogue, La Belle Vie Esthetics offers chemical peels, dermaplaning, and micro & hydrodermabrasion that can be tailored to your needs and goals — from enhancing natural features to addressing personal concerns. The staff’s attention to detail ensures waxing, lash and brow lifts are so precise they exceed your vision of picture-perfect.
