Celebrate Your Dad

The Father’s Day Festival runs Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, with half-price admission for dads. Harbes’ Barnyard Adventure admission ($28.75) includes a musical hayride tour of the 100-acre farm, pig races and a sports zone with football, baseball and basketball-tossing games. Bop to the Beat
The Doo Wop Project performs at The Suffolk (118 E. Main St., Riverhead, 631-727-4343) Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. The group will sing hits of classic doo wop bands like the Crests, Belmonts, Temptations, Four Seasons and more, and cover songs by modern musicians like Michael Jackson, Maroon 5 and Jason Mraz in a doo-wop style. Dive in, Dog!
The 9th Annual North Fork Dock Diving Weekend has a new home at the Greenport Polo Grounds on Moores Lane. On Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. pups compete in a series of athletic dog jumping competitions, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Greenport Skate Park Revitalization Project and other local charities. Grab a souvenir from one of the pet product venders on hand, and fill your belly with the Greenport Fire Department’s available eats. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. March with Pride
The third North Fork Pride hits Greenport on Sunday, June 22, from noon to 5 p.m. The parade marches down Main and Front streets and will be followed by a lively street fair with a DJ, vendors, food trucks and more rainbows than your eyes can handle.
