Southold Town’s Anti-Bias Task Force sponsors a Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance this Sunday at the Southold Recreation Center. There’s lots of events to take in this holiday weekend if you like dancing, crafting, the arts, and eating well.

FRIDAY

Spirit’s Promise Country Barn Dance | Riverhead Polish Hall, 214 Marcy Avenue, Riverhead

In An Instant Photo Exhibit | Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, 234 Carpenter St., Greenport

Photographer Jess Paul’s exhibit, featuring Polaroids and a short film, opens at Greenport Harbor’s Carpenter Street location at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. For more details, click here.

MLK Holiday Observance | Southold Recreation Center, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic

Sponsored by the Anti-Bias Task Force of Southold Town, this Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration takes place from 4-6 p.m. with keynote speaker Reverend Kevin Ford, Associate Pastor of the Unity Baptist Church in Mattituck. Presentation by winners of the MLK “Honor the Dream” student contest and refreshments; free. For more information, check here.

Brunch a la Mexicana | RGNY Vineyards, 6025 Sound Ave., Riverhead
