Happy Leap Year, North Forkers! Grab that extra day with gusto with a multitude of fun things to do on the East End this weekend.

In addition to a fun Leap Year wine sipping session, there’s plenty to taste, see and do on the North Fork in the upcoming days, from a mind-reading, hypnotizing comedian to a disco dance party and multiple walks through our beautiful region — even if the weather is increasingly unpredictable. It’s chili for charity at Clovis Point | 1935 Main Road, Jamesport

Enjoy comedy and a show at Riverhead Moose Lodge | 51 Madison St., Riverhead

On Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m., the Moose Lodge will host comedian hypnotist and mentalist (yes, you read that correctly) Terry Parrett. There’s an optional dinner ticket available at $45 for both the show and meal; $27 if you just want to laugh. Buy tickets here

Take a walk with the Peconic Baykeeper’s 2nd Annual Winter Watershed Walk Series | Wolf Preserve, 12455 Main Bayview Road, Southold

On March 1 at 11 a.m., dress comfortably and tour this 1.5-mile walk around the Peconic Estuary. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is limited, carpooling encouraged. More info here.

Dance under the disco ball at The Suffolk | 118 East Main St., Riverhead

Listen to guitarist and violinist Tim Kliphuis and Jimmy Grant recreate gypsy jazz classics | Shelter Island Presbyterian Church, 32 North Ferry Road, Shelter Island
