Since 1987, Aldo’s Coffee Company has fueled residents and visitors of Greenport with house-roasted coffee and homemade biscotti and scones. The European-style café became a staple, supplying coffee to numerous restaurants and businesses across the North Fork, Hamptons and beyond.
In August of this year, founder Aldo Maiorana decided to retire, selling his gourmet coffee shop to four friends living and raising their young families on the East End. While the coffee hasn’t changed, other elements such as faster wifi, a loyalty program and pre-prepared salads from The Lettuce Lady are welcome new additions to the store. The new owners are also happy to highlight local artists on their walls. Currently, the cafe is featuring the photography of CAST students.
