There’s only one week until Times Review Media Group’s inaugural Northforker Wine & Food Classic, which will be held at Borghese Vineyard & Winery in Cutchogue on Sept. 1.
The evening will showcase area wineries, breweries and restaurants and give guests a taste of what the North Fork and East End have to offer at the site of Long Island’s first vineyard.
Participating restaurants include Ammirati’s of Love Lane, Caribbean Boys, Center Cuts, The Chequit, Grace & Grit, Insatiable Eats, Isola, North Fork Chocolate, North Fork Flour Shoppe, Oysterponds Shellfish, Piesans Pizza, Preston House, Rugged Jacks, Seaside Grill, The Catered Fork, The Halyard, The Treatery, and The Village Cheese Shop.
Vineyards include Borghese Vineyard, Clovis Point Wines, Coffee Pot Cellars, Jamesport Vineyards, Macari Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Paumanok Vineyards, Peconic Bay Vineyards, Pellegrini Vineyards, Pindar Vineyards, Pugliese Vineyards, Sparkling Pointe Vineyards, and Sannino Vineyard.
There will also be local breweries including Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, Eastern Front Brewing Co., North Fork Brewing Co., Peconic County Brewing, Take Two Brewery, Twin Fork Beer Co., and Westhampton Beach Brewing Company. Montauk Distilling will provide craft seltzer, The Giving Room will have fresh juice on-hand and Campari will serve cocktails.

“This is definitely the largest assembly of restaurants vineyards breweries spirits seltzers in 2022 on the East End,” said Steven McKenna, VP of Sales and Events for Times Review Media Group. “Sort of saving the best for last, or the end of summer. This will be an event that continues on for many years.”
Partial proceeds from the event will benefit Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation, as well as funding the forthcoming Ann Marie & Marco Borghese scholarship fund, which will go to area high school students.
The Northforker Wine & Food Classic is sponsored by Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital and Sheri Winter Parker.
