More than a half dozen East End marine companies traveled to New York City this week to show off the latest in boating at the New York Boat Show.

The annual event, which was founded in 1905, is the first and oldest running boat show in the nation.

Hosted at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan, it continues through Sunday and features local businesses like Strong’s Marine, Port of Egypt Marine, Hampton Watercraft & Marine, Spellmans Marine and Albertson Marine.
