Veterans Day at the L.I. Aquarium

Veterans enjoy a free day at the Aquarium this Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11.

All veterans and active military personnel will enjoy free admission, plus half-price admission for their families.

Fall Extravaganza: Antique, Fine Arts & Crafts Fair

Shop homemade crafts in Peconic on Saturday, November 12.

Hosted by the Old Town Arts and Crafts Guild, antiques, fine art, photography, pottery, jewelry, crafts, gifts and more will be available for purchase. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and bake sale.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sake Tasting Lesson

Learn about sake at Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market on Saturday, November 12.

Taste three sakes from the oyster region of Japan. You’ll be guided through the flight during a lesson in the sake making process.

The event runs from noon to 1:30 p.m.

A tasting session is $20 and includes generous servings of each sake, plus an oyster and scallop pairing, as well as additional snacks and surprises.

Holiday Gift Boutique

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the East End Arts Holiday Gift Boutique on Saturday, November 12.

Shop for handmade gifts, ornaments, greeting cards and crafts by 45 local artisans. The boutique is open from noon to 5 p.m.

Hosted by East End Arts, the store will be held inside the organization’s gallery at 133 East Main Street, Riverhead.

Eat, Drink and Be Sparkling 

Sparkling pointe kicks off its annual “Eat, Drink and be Sparkling” series this weekend. Enjoy a slice of chocolate chess pie from From and Twenty Blackbirds paired with glass of Sparkling Point Cuvée Carnaval Rouge.

The event is $15 is runs from noon to 5 p.m.
