Learn about raising and caring for chicks and laying hens on Friday, April 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Talmage Farm Agway in Riverhead.
They’ll discuss egg development, nutrition, expanding your flock, feeding programs, housing, sanitation, plus there will be time for a Q&A. There will be another presentation on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The presentation is free, but reservations are required and can be made by calling (631) 727-3100.

The Supreme Beings
Northeast Stage presents the new stage comedy “The Supreme Beings,” a play that asks the question,“What if God was one of us,” at Holy Trinity Church.
Performances are on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30 at 8 p.m. There will also be a matinee on Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $18 at the door.

Unlock the Shinnecock
Learn how to maneuver a boat through Shinnecock Locks safely, enter and exit the locks in confidence aboard a Strong Marine’s boat from Mattituck beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 1.
