Lieb Cellars to host yard sale; chance to win wine for a year

Join The Tasting Group Wine Club in July or August and enter to win one year of free membership

Membership to the Mattituck wine collective’s club includes the following benefits: Three shipments a year (Sept, Jan, May) including one bottle per producer represented at The Tasting Group (that’s six bottles); 10% discount on all wine purchases; one complimentary glass of wine for you and up to three guests per visit; and discounted tickets to The Tasting Group’s wine education courses led by the winemakers and owners of each brand.

The winner will be chosen at random on September 1.

Sign up at their tasting room at 35 Cox Neck Road in Mattituck or call 631-298-1942. There is no fee to sign up, though members must pay for the three yearly shipments, which cost around $100.

In other news, one of the Tasting Group’s producers, Lieb Cellars, will host a “wine yard sale” on Sunday, July 6 from 8 a.m. to noon at the tasting room located at 13050 Oregon Road in Cutchogue. Bottles and cases of the following wines are 50 percent off: Bridge Lane Sparkling 2011; Bridge Lane Chardonnay; 2012 Bridge Lane Merlot Blanc; 2011 Reserve Pinot Blanc; 2010 Reserve Chardonnay; 2011 Bridge Lane Merlot; and 2006 Reserve Merlot.
