A new restaurant with a familiar name has opened its doors on the North Fork.
Long Island-based, family-owned Pace’s Steakhouse expanded to Mattituck with its new eatery Pace’s Dockside over the summer and after a few sample runs in August officially opened its doors just before New Years.
The restaurant, located at the newly redone Strong’s Water Club & Marina, at the former Matt-A-Mar property, is a more laid back version of the flagship locations in Hauppauge and Port Jefferson, but still has all the quality and flavors customers expect from the brand.
Pace’s Dockside at Strong’s Water Club & Marina is open Thursday through Sunday during the winter and will open seven days a week during the summer season.
“We are excited and thrilled and join the Strong’s team,” said co-owner Joanne Douglass. “We are looking forward to a summer filled with music, food and friends.”
During the winter and spring, Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. features half-priced drinks and specials on appetizers. The dinning room is also open Thursday through Sunday.
