Hollywood came to the North Fork in 2016, when scenes for various television shows were filmed from Wading River to Greenport.

In August, actress Christina Ricci brought a touch of Jazz Age glamour to Wading River while filming for her Amazon series “Z: The Beginning of Everything.” She plays Zelda Fitzgerald, the flapper and socialite wife of “The Great Gatsby” novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Scenes were shot in several locations, including a beach house on Creek Road, Wading River Congregational Church and the Duck Ponds. The episode will be available to stream on Amazon in late January.

One month later, comedian Keegan-Michael Key of “Key and Peele” fame was spotted with former “How I Met Your Mother” actress Cobie Smulders at Macari Vineyards in Mattituck. The stars were at the winery to shoot a scene for their upcoming Netflix series “Friends From College,” a half-hour show about a group of Harvard University graduates now in their 40s. The show will debut on Netflix sometime next year.

In October, former “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul and actress Michelle Monaghan visited Greenport to shoot scenes for the second season of their Hulu series “The Path.” They shot several scenes in the village, including Front and Carpenter streets, and even filmed inside Claudio’s restaurant.

The series’ first season is currently streaming on Amazon.
