Taste North Fork, the festival that featured cooking demos, deals, village tours and food, beer and wine tastings across the region, will return this Veterans Day weekend.

While the itinerary has yet to be set and participants need to be sought, the event will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9, according to Long Island Wine Council director Steve Bate.

“We’re still working on the details,” Bate said adding that the Wine Council will provide shuttle service to stops along the tour.

Last year’s activities included a shellfish festival at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., chowder tasting at Whiskey Wind Tavern and a cooking demonstration with chef Tom Schaudel at Waters Crest Winery.

Local businesses interested in participating can contact the Long Island Wine Council at 631-722-2220.

We will report the details as they become available.
