The North Fork is getting its first specialty matcha tea bar.
So Matcha is celebrating its grand opening this weekend inside Solntse Hot Yoga in Wading River. The newly redesigned front end of the 1,000-square-foot studio — a dressing room a little more than a month ago — is now an open, sophisticated mini-café that is serving up matcha tea, both hot and iced.

East End yogis may be familiar with Solntse Hot Yoga in Wading River. The popular studio in the Shoppes at East Wind offers a variety of yoga, barre and meditation classes befitting of both beginners and advanced practitioners. (more…)

Ina Pollifrone-Visich discovered hot yoga while researching treatments for fibromyalgia, a chronic disorder she was diagnosed with more than a year ago. The 27-year-old native of Belarus found that stretching under steamy conditions alleviated her symptoms, including headaches and fatigue.
The only problem? It was tiring to make the trek from Baiting Hollow, where she resides, to her favorite studio, Buddha Beach Yoga in East Moriches.
So Pollifrone-Visich decided to open a hot vinyasa studio closer to home. (more…)
