The competition will be on at the Greenport Classic Yacht Regatta this Saturday Sept 21 (welcoming party Friday Sept. 20). One of the Maritime Festival’s longest standing events, it draws dozens of wooden boats to partake in the 15-mile race around Gardiner’s Bay. (more…)

The East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation welcomes seafarers and landlubbers alike to the 24th Annual Maritime Festival in Greenport from Friday Sept. 20 through Sunday Sept. 22. This year the theme is “Land & Sea” and the festival will be focusing on everything wonderful and unique that the North Fork and our historic maritime village has to offer. The Greenport Maritime Festival takes place Friday, Sept. 20 – Sunday, Sept. 22. For a rundown of happenings at the Maritime Festival, click here.

The East End Seaport Museum and the Village of Greenport will welcome maritime ships all weekend as a main attraction of  Greenport’s annual Maritime Festival. The ships will be docked at Mitchell Park Marina’s fixed piers and will be open for viewing, tours and sailaways from approximately 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. An information booth will also be located in Mitchell Park. This year’s Festival will celebrate Greenport Village and the East End’s “Land & Sea.” (more…)
