Greenport’s Village Cinema is open during the winter once again! The Winter Film Series, curated by Manhattan Film Institute, runs every Saturday from January 11 through May 9 and showcases award-winning movies and classic cinema for kids and adults.
This week, the acclaimed film for children is the 2012 animated film Wolf Children. This Japanese film chronicles the trials of a young mother raising two half-wolf children in the countryside. Evoking the same emotions and themes as classic Miyazaki films, this film is a must see!
The show begins at 6:30.
All of the screenings will be presented free of charge this winter, though donations are requested. For the full schedule, visit manhattanfilminstitute.com.
