Landcraft Garden Foundation Horticulturist Kerry Ann McLean will teach the traditional craft of wattling – weaving willow, bamboo and other woods/natural materials into decorative garden fences, trellises, gates and more. Take home a new set of skills, a short hurdle, and inspiration about what you can do in your own garden with what you have or can source. More info: [email protected]; 631-298-7216. Please bring your own gloves and pruners. If you have loppers, we encourage you to bring these as well. Wear what you’ll need to work comfortably outside in the garden, in sun or shade. Don’t forget a hat, sun protection, bug spray, water, etc.
