Greenport’s Village Cinema is open during the winter once again! The Winter Film Series, curated by Manhattan Film Institute, runs every Saturday from January 11 through May 9 and showcases award-winning movies and classic cinema for kids and adults.
This week, the acclaimed film for children is the 1995 animated film Toy Story. The first film ever to be completely computer-animated, this classic film about toys that come to life launched PIXAR Animation Studios into the beloved cultural space it has occupied ever since. Whether you’ve never seen it or seen it a million times, this film is still definitely a must see for all ages!
The show begins at 6:30.
All of the screenings will be presented free of charge this winter, though donations are requested.
