On March 11th, award-winning faculty from the Stony Brook Southampton MFA in Creative Writing will be reading at our weekly reading series.
Among reading will be Amy Hempel, Cornelius Eady, Paul Harding, Julie Sheehan, Ursula Hegi, Roger Rosenblatt, Susan Scarf Merrell, and Lou Ann Walker. Our faculty have won numerous accolades and prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize, the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Rea Award for the Short Story, and the Whiting Award, among others.
The event is free and open to the public. Receptions will begin at 6:30 pm and readings will begin at 7:00 pm in the Rakoff Theater in the second floor of Chancellors Hall.
