Shelter Island Friends of Music continues its 2026 season with a free concert by Junction Trio on Sunday, May 24 at 6:00 PM at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church. Featuring violinist Stefan Jackiw, pianist Conrad Tao, and cellist Jay Campbell, the program will include works by Beethoven, John Zorn, and Dvořák. A reception with the artists will follow the performance.
Junction Trio brings an adventurous spirit to the piano trio format, seamlessly bridging traditional and modern works with a shared sense of curiosity and expressive depth. Their recent performances have included appearances at Washington Performing Arts, Portland Ovations, and the Royal Conservatory in Toronto.
Please arrive early to secure a seat. Shelter Island Friends of Music cannot guarantee admittance once the concert has begun or if the hall has reached its legally allowable capacity. The concert will last approximately 60–90 minutes with no intermission.
