Come to our ReWild / North Fork Chapter monthly Meeting on Saturday morning at 10 am at The Vine Church at North Fork United Methodist Church (At Horton’s Lane, 43960 CR 48, Middle Rd, Southold, NY 11971). We’ll have an informative and enlightening presentation by Dan Shay showing us how to be stewards of our land, one garden, one area, one day at a time. Learn about the community compost pilot program staring right here in Southold (save the date June 8th); exciting Earth Day activities; Native plant sale info; and volunteer opportunities. Oh yes, get a baby Northern red oak (Quercus rubra, your children will enjoy it) and elderberry cuttings (for your health and the birds to enjoy!)
