Academy of American Poets award-winning poet and Southold native Matthew Daddona celebrates the release of his debut collection of poetry, House of Sound (on sale October 22nd from Wandering Aengus Press), on November 1st, 2020 at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic. A collection of twenty-eight poems that deals with longing, interpersonal contact, and sound as both a salve and a distraction to basic human emotion, House of Sound has been praised by award-winning poet Matthew Lippman as “sonically and visually brilliant…a world of image and light that sweeps across the landscape of human experience and implores you to listen.” Celebrating alongside Daddona will be celebrated musician Rob Europe (and Matthew’s best friend), whose style of roots and blues music is as soulful as it is explosive, as rich as it is tender.
Matthew Daddona will be selling and signing books. Rob Europe will have albums available for purchase as well.
