VIEW THE PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE AT HALLOCK STATE PARK
PRESERVE
All are invited to view the solar eclipse from the upper parking lot of Hallock State Park Preserve.
Retired Professor of Astronomy and Geology George Lomaga will bring viewing equipment, including his telescope equipped with a solar viewing lens.
NYS Park Environmental Educators will be on site for interpretation of the eclipse. Participants will receive a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses.
The eclipse will take place at approximately 3:27 PM at
Hallock SP.
ORIENT BEACH STATE PARK will also have certified solar viewing glasses available.
This is a free event and there is no parking fee.
