We invite you to join us Sunday, May 29th of Memorial Day weekend for oysters on the half shell and a glass of wine! Southold Bay Oysters will be at the Tasting House shucking Long Island’s finest Southold Shindig Oysters from 1-5pm!

Featured Local Business: Southold Bay Oysters

A shellfish farm growing Southold Shindig Oysters in the waters of Southold Bay, on the North Fork of Long Island, NY. Southold Shindigs are Eastern Oysters (Crassostrea Virginica) or Atlantic Oysters.  They are “true oysters” native to the eastern seaboard of North America. Southold Shindigs are grown in deep water in the center of Southold Bay.  Their taste profile begins with a burst of brinines that quickly transitions to a smooth vignette with a hint of sweetness and mineral finish.

Freshly shucked oysters and the full Suhru Wines menu will be available at the Tasting House from 1-5pm on Sunday, September 5th.
