Long Island’s North Fork has long drawn painters, sculptors, photographers, and
other visual artists, inspired and energized by the region’s sky, farmland, and
bays.
In years past, participants in Oysterponds
Historical Society’s “North Fork Art & Artists Exhibition
& Sale” have numbered in the dozens, with a striking variety of media and
subject matter that has captured visitors’ imaginations.
Oysterponds Historical Society (OHS) is delighted that, in its role of as an important community
hub, it’s able to provide a platform for the outstanding artwork produced by our friends and neighbors.
The exhibition will be held at OHS’s Old Point Schoolhouse (1555 Village Lane,
Orient) and 50% of the purchase price will go to the artist and 50% will
represent a contribution to OHS.
