Come to the Peconic Land Trust’s Agricultural Center at Charnews farm and harvest fresh elderberries from the fields with Rachel Stephens of Sweet Woodland Farm! After harvesting, you’ll enjoy Rachel’s demonstration on how to make elderberry syrup. This health-boosting, sweet and natural medicine is loaded with Vitamin C and has been used for many years to support a healthy immune system. Taste a sample and then take home a copy of the recipe! Elderberry syrup will be available for purchase after the program.
