The esteemed Lysander Piano Trio will perform at the
Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. as part of our 1731
Series, which brings internationally-acclaimed musicians to the North Fork. The
trio will a program entitled, “Dreams & Apparitions,” featuring
works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Rebecca Clarke and Robert Schumann. The Lysander
Piano Trio has been praised
by The Strad for its “incredible ensemble, passionate playing,
articulate and imaginative ideas and wide palette of colors” and by The
Washington Post for “an uncommon degree of heart-on-the-sleeve emotional
frankness.” The group features Itamar Zorman on violin, James Kim on
cello, and Liza Stepanova at piano. Tickets
are $20 and include a reception with the artists.
