Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Ave., Riverhead, invites ghosts and ghouls of all ages to don their Halloween costumes for a fun, interactive Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Fundraiser on its 28-acre preserved farm homestead.
Hallockville’s Trunk-or-Treat will feature a fabulous silent auction and raffle, pumpkin decorating and Halloween crafts, family-style lawn games, a mummy-wrapping contest, Mike the Silly Magician’s magic show at 4:00 p.m., scary storytelling, a costume parade and contest around the Naugles Barn, and will culminate in a Trunk-or-Treat (treat bags provided) where children will trick-or-treat among Hallockville volunteers’ festively decorated cars parked throughout the pasture.
Sweet and savory offerings by The Treatery food truck and spirited beverages will be available for purchase. Guests may stroll the grounds, experience the interactive Sustainability Tour, browse seasonal items from Miss Ella’s Gift Shop, visit the resident cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, and relax under the apple trees.
